"Does it say what I think it says," she asked?
Her sentence quickly forced me to realize that she was holding a pregnancy test, rather than a thermometer. "What the fuck does it say," I asked, somewhat impatiently? "I think it says I'm pregnant," she answered.
That is how Marie and I started Sunday, July 5th of 2015. Soon afterwards, she took a second test to confirm that she was, in fact pregnant.
Today we are sitting at 34 weeks. I can't believe that, in roughly six weeks, I will be holding my firstborn child. I am both thrilled and terrified at the prospect of being a dad. However, right now, I am feeling mostly humbled and blessed at the coming oppertunity to watch this little guy come into the world.
